All Shelf Stable Food Menu Items are Pre-Cooked and have No Refrigeration is required Some Eat Now others require heating.

​Chef 5  Food Items can be eaten out of the pouch or serving tray simply activate self heating, open and eat.

Plott Foods'  up to 5 Year Shelf  Stable Food Menu Items are packaged in a heavy duty preservation wrapping material sealed to form a barrier pouch to contain foods. All of Plott's Shelf Stable Food products are packaged according to Military Specifications. 

​​Plott Foods' Barrier Pouches are Waterproof and Air Controlled. Barrier packaging is a unique packaged technology that prevents air exposure, water damage,  and other natural elements from absorbing through the barrier packaging, and controls moisture  to prevent spoilage. Barrier Pouches are used in the military's MRE (Meal Ready to Eat).
